Miguel joins the Red River team with over 20 years’ experience in the health care industry. Miguel is a blessed and devoted father of 2 and husband first and attributes his family being the motivating force behind all of his success. He began his career at North Texas State Hospital- Vernon campus as a Certified Psychiatric Nursing Assistant for 5 years. Miguel continued his career at NTSH after obtaining his LVN License in 2005 and then his RN license in 2012 from Vernon College for the next 9 years. While working for Angels Care Home Health as a Psychiatric Case Manger Miguel was able to obtain his BSN in 2020 and then his MSN at West Texas A & M University. Miguel served as the Infection Control/ Employee Health Nurse and later the Home Health Administrator at Wilbarger General Hospital during the COVID-19 global pandemic from 2020-2022. Miguel then served as the Chief Nursing Officer for Perimeter Health Care in Arlington for about a year before coming back home to the Texoma area.
