Northern Texas & Southern Oklahoma's Comprehensive Hospital for Behavioral Health & Drug Addiction
The Red River Hospital team understands the difficult time you are going through, and we strive to provide the best quality of care to each individual that passes though our doors.
For Less Intensive Care
Designed to be a bridge between inpatient care and returning home, Red River Hospital’s outpatient programs serve as excellent step-down options after a higher level of treatment or as an entry point into the therapeutic process. With two levels of care, a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP), our outpatient offerings give adults and adolescents a chance to understand their symptoms, improve their level of functioning, and return to happier, healthier lives.
For Children and Adolescents
Our caring and compassionate staff are dedicated to providing our younger patients with the highest quality of care in the safest and most comfortable environment possible. We treat children and adolescents who are struggling with a number of different acute psychiatric disorders and concerns, and we also offer a positive reinforcement behavioral level system which provides additional structure and rewards for our youth patients.
Our Adult Behavioral Health Unit is a 22-bed unit specializing in treating adults ages 18 and up who are struggling with psychiatric concerns and/or substance abuse issues. The treatment services we provide on this unit are focused on helping patients develop the necessary coping skills to deal with the stressors that led to the need for hospitalization.
For Older Adults and Seniors
At Red River Hospital, we offer our geriatric patients specialized programming through our Geriatric Unit, designed to provide care for older adults whose recovery needs are impacted by limited mobility, cognitive impairments, and/or medical concerns. The treatment services on this unit are focused on helping patients achieve the highest level of autonomy possible, while providing the support they need to address the challenges that led to their need for hospitalization.
For Military Heroes
Our Military Resiliency Unit, or MRU, is a dynamic and highly effective environment in which active-duty members of the armed forces, veterans, and certain adult dependents can receive focused care for a wide range of additional mental and behavioral health concerns. Men and women who heal in the MHU receive evidence-based, research-supported treatment provided by compassionate professionals who have experience working with members of the military and place a premium on acceptance, support, and respect.
Where are you in your journey?
We understand the many pressures, concerns, and frustrations that can accompany the effort to find the best treatment option, and we are dedicated to doing all that we can to make this a more efficient and effective process.
“Your outpatient program is phenomenal, and so are the techs and nurses. They truly care about the patients.”
